A few Simple things to consider about Mark marty Rathbun
He has a long history of violence first of all. Second, he has committed perjury (multiple times).
Marty Rathbun got arrested during his honeymoon, for being too drunk.
Rathbun is paranoid and sees spies amongst his followers. Yet, he always brags about how he has spies inside Scientology churches.
Rathbun lies, tells stories that never happened and spins stories so that he is never to blame for anything.
Rathbun’s friends must agree with his views in order to remain in his inner circle.
The list goes on, but someone should start considering that Rathbun might be mentally disturbed due to the amount of electroshock he received while in his mother’s womb.
His megalomania knows no bounds. He compares himself toanyone he can think of to elevate the image of himself away from the shabby reality of an obsessed little man typing away on his computer when he’s not fishing on a remote backwater canal listening to his favorite tunes about smoking weed and drinking wine.
But he’s got dozens of devoted suppressive followers, whoshare many of his motivators and justifiersit has been tried time and again, going back a long time. It is a standard run-of-the-mill, garden-variety SP tactic, and there’s nothing new about it.
“Every time you write something, Marty, it gives us a better idea of what you’ve done, are doing, or are trying to do. Anyone with any understanding of the criminal mind can see that, too.
For example, you said about me: “… they pirated my name in a vampirish attempt to garner an audience…”
You mean the way you pirated “Scientology” and “standard tech” to garner an audience for yourself, Marty? In your case, I’ll agree it does sound “vampirish” as your only life comes from sucking the blood of the Church you’ve worked so hard to destroy for 3 decades, and leeching off it’s name. You know that without it, you would just be the zero you really are, and would have to find some other helping organization to try to “fight.” No one would listen to a word you say if you weren’t vampiring Scientology.”
The ‘we agree in most things with Ron but——-‘ sees the coattails of the public, not their faces. Only recently a large office nearly crashed on this one alone. I repeat that this is no self-interested observation. It is just fact. ‘This office doesn’t fully agree with Ron’ is a sure trademark of failure. I can name nearly a hundred (independent, nearly all of them) failed centers who for all their work and often creditable actions, new furniture and exteriors, failed and failed hard on just that point.”

HCOPL 27 Dec 63 THE MAGIC OF GOOD MANAGEMENT
You hear this kind of remark from Marty Rathbun and his nutty pals all the time: “we agree in most things with Ron but ——- “ The caveat (they hope) obscures a cesspool of ethical and technical crimes, committed every time they are able to snag some poor pre-clear and shove him in front of an, at best uncertified, quite often jury-rigged, even flat-out broken, excuse for an e-meter.
With squirrels like Rathbun, faint praise for LRH (if any) is a staple, and it is always delivered while they are quite blatantly criticizing LRH and Scientology with their actions.
Rathbun takes every opportunity he can to denigrate the technology of the Church of Scientology, the integrity of real Scientologists, the good works done by the Church, the motivations of it’s leaders, and even the repute of it’s Founder, L. Ron Hubbard.
You can easily see this is common to all his actions. He will not say anything good, because his true intent is destruction, not an elevation of the practice of the Scientology Religious Philosophy as he pretends.
But those who can observe with a straightforward, honest look can see that Rathbun alters everything he views, and always for the worse.
That is the indicator of Marty Rathbun’s real intentions.
In a dwindling spiral of mutual out-Tech ruds, each squirrel encourages the next, back and forth. Rathbun himself engages in all manner of Technical Degrades including shortcut, quickied and even ignored processes, squirrel checksheets and issues, altered and minimized “OT” processing, grade and “OT” level completions without any Qual, and even a campaign to relegate the overt/withhold tech to the lost tech file.
By redefinition of terms by this new High Priest of technical interpretation, these things are now Rathbun’s idea of “standard.”
In fact, taking the issue Keeping Scientology Working in reverse would give you a road map to Rathbun’s (and friends’) entire technical operation.
Yet the Big Lie that Rathbun is “pro” LRH continues.
But in reality, we see only that after several decades of rockslammer Rathbun pretending he is for LRH and LRH tech, he is merely a mean little man surrounded by a small group of gleefully individuated squirrels for whom Scientology and it’s technical processes are toys to be played with in whatever sensational hit-or-miss manner they please, while they congratulate each other on being Free! Free! to be as out-ethics as they please without taking responsibility for others.
How low can Marty Rathbun go? Well, 2011 showed us a glimpse. I say glimpse, because I’m sure he’s not yet sunk to the depths he’s capable of. Rathbun gave us evidence that he became what he failed to handle by sucking up to Ursula Caberta, revealing his long term alliance with avowed LRH-mocker Mark Bunker, and taking serial legal loser Graham Berry into his arms (and worse, following his advice.)
There are plenty of laughable moments that the cartoon Marty Rathbun provided us with, many of them centering around Rathbun’s mistaken idea that perception is reality. This is entirely consistent with his incessant drive to alter things around him, and part of why he never got any case gain. One of the better examples in 2011 was Rathbun comparing himself to Martin Luther, and after a friend poked him and told him the difference between ML and MLK, Rathbun decides to compare himself to both. None of which changes the fact that he’s just a low-level underachiever with the mouth of a snake-oil salesman.
He finally drops it because even his kool-aid cult-of-personality followers are embarrassed by the comparisons.
Rathbun pushes so hard to get people to believe that what he SAYS (perception) is the truth, that he is taken in by others doing the same to him. Mark Bunker spends years in one of the most creepy displays of LRH hatred and Dianetics/Scientology Tech mockery one could possibly find, but Rathbun believes him when Bunker says he only wants to help “reform” the Church. Rathbun conveniently never bothers to look at what Bunker has actually done.
Even now, Rathbun continues to feed him scurrilous claims, as has no where else to go, and he has to keep his dwindling cult members thinking he’s doing something.
If there is any one thing that drives Marty Rathbun crazy, it’s being called out on his lies. Rathbun and his true intentions cannot stand the light of day. The smallest hint that he is being questioned, or seen for what he truly is, brings out the stimulus-response animal in Rathbun.
Rathbun thinks that the pressure he feels comes from other people, so he blames them and strikes out at them viciously. Rathbun runs back to his computer every time he feels the impulse to attack, so that he doesn’t end up in handcuffs again. When challenged for his stats recently, Marty again took to his blog to bombard us with his idea of “stats”. But Marty‘s squirrel tech stats don’t truly matter anyway. So long as Rathbun is delivering his squirrel services, his clients are in for despair.
No matter what evidence is shown to prove how well the Church of Scientology is doing, Marty Rathbun and squirrels alike, magically twist facts into proving some other, usually delusional, point. Rathbun and his followers see any sign of being up-stats as a big scam. Rathbun is so self obsessed he probably imagines that the Church puts out stats simply to mess with him. It is hopeless to try and help people like Rathbun who are already too far gone into their own little world.
Despite the distorted perceptions of a few squirrels, the Church is always expanding. Each day, more and more people are raving about the auditing they are getting and how much the Church is helping them in their lives.
In Marty‘s SP mind, everything that he does, is done in the shadow of the Church. The overts that Rathbun has committed, and continues to commit against Scientology are slowly eating away at him.

It must be dreadful being a squirrel. At least it’s great to be a REAL Scientologist.
Marty Rathbun claims to be a Scientologist, and yet he spends every waking moment attacking Scientology. Marty is nothing more than a suppressive person trying to destroy the things he thinks has landed him in the gutter. In Marty‘s twisted, perverted mind the Church is responsible for Marty being so miserable in life, and as such he is trying to take it out by insulting DM on a daily basis, and flowing drunken hatred on his blog (If Marty is just way too drunk to type, he posts his latest video of what else? Him and Mosey yammering to each other about how Agents are everywhere and they’re all out to get them.)
It’s astonishing that anyone could buy into Rathbun‘s lies. If you take a quick second to do some research on Marty‘s associates, you’ll find that they are just as twisted and perverted as Rathbun is. It’s not that they believe his lies, so much as they have their own lies to try to keep straight. Every last one of Marty‘s followers spews venomous lies about Scientology wherever they go.
If Marty and his followers were truly Scientologists, and not a bunch of SP Criminal scum bags, the would surely follow the code of Scientologist.
One: Don’t talk about Scientologists to people who are not Scientologists. Don’t criticize or give or receive criticism about other Scientologists. In other words, be completely unwilling to listen to entheta about your fellow auditors. And be completely unwilling to give out entheta about them.
Now, you’d say, that’s the introduction of an arbitrary. No, it isn’t. That is merely the unification against one of the primary modus operandi of the society at large in trying to keep an organization from growing. Do you know what the society at large is brave enough to do, and all it’s brave enough to do? It’s brave enough to cut affinity lines! And that’s all it can do.
